Conference Overview:

The 2008 Cooper Power Systems/Cannon Conference is an annual event sponsored by Cannon Technologies/Cooper Power Systems to provide our user community networking opportunities, valuable information exchanges, solution updates and training on the Cannon product line and Yukon® Advanced Energy Services Platform.

The educational event is directed to electric utility planners, managers, marketing directors and operations supervisors. This year’s event will be held at The Depot Minneapolis – A Renaissance Hotel in the historic Minneapolis Riverfront District, October 20 through October 22, 2008.

The two and a half day event includes Cooper Power Systems updates, user presentations focused on innovative and unique system implementations, and detailed training designed for specific user families.

The general conference will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday, October 8. The optional day and a half training programs begin Tuesday, October 21 and conclude with lunch Wednesday, October 22.

The conference opens with an optional social gathering from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday October 19 in the Winter Garden at The Depot Minneapolis. A special dinner and program highlights Monday evening’s festivities and all registered guests are welcome to attend these events.

This year’s conference is at The Depot Minneapolis – A Renaissance Hotel. The Depot Minneapolis, a nationally registered historic venue houses the newly remodeled Renaissance Hotel, a complete conference center, restaurant, bar and indoor water park. Located in the historic riverfront district, there are miles of walking trails easily accessible to the hotel. Other local attractions include the Guthrie Theater, Mill City Museum, Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome and shopping along Nicollet Mall.

Registration:

The conference registration fee is $425 per person. Early bird registration is $375 by June 13. The fee includes breakfast and lunch Monday through Wednesday and the Monday evening dinner event.
