Technologies, Inc. Appoints Former Sempra Executive Frederick
E. John to Its Board
Minneapolis, MN, May 9, 2005 —
Cannon Technologies, Inc. a leading provider of electric
utility automation solutions, announced today their appointment
of Frederick E. John, former senior vice president of external
affairs for Sempra Energy, to its board. At Sempra, Mr.
John had responsibility for regulatory and governmental
strategy and policy. In addition to his track record in
senior utility management, Mr. John also has extensive experience
in consulting capacities and utility regulatory policy.
Prior to his career at Sempra, he served as executive director
of the California Public Utilities Commission. Cannon Technologies’
