Cannon Technologies selects Jim Losleben to be
National Sales Manager
August 12, 1998, Minneapolis, MN.- Cannon
Technologies, Inc. of Wayzata, Minn. announced today that
it has hired Jim Losleben to become its National Sales Manager.
The move comes as a result of increased interest and sales
in Cannon Technologies' load control, substation automation,
and automated distribution equipment.
"Jim brings with him more than 30 years of
experience in the utility industry, and his enthusiasm, creativity,
and concern for customer and employee satisfaction made him our
first choice," said Cannon Technologies' president Ed Cannon.
"We look forward to having Jim help us continue to manage
our growth and develop new opportunities for our expanding product
line."
Mr. Losleben previously spent 4 years as the National
Sales Manager for Superconductivity of Madison, WI, the world's
leading producer of pulsed superconducting magnets that deliver
energy in milliseconds. Prior to joining Superconductivity, Mr.
Losleben also served in management positions at ESCA Corporation,
and Brown Boveri, Inc. He has also been a member for 25 years
in the Industrial Electronics & Electrical Engineering (IEEE)
Association.

systems for electric utility remote metering, substation automation

Advisor®, an automation system for substations
that includes equipment sensors, trending applications for
predictive maintenance, and interfaces to many existing
SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) systems.
The Substation Advisor® was the subject of
a front-page story in the July issue of the quarterly GE/Harris
publication, Synergy News, highlighting a recent installation
at Minnesota Power and the Advisor's ability to interface
with the GE/Harris D-20 RTU. Cannon Technologies presently
has over 240 electric utilities worldwide using its products.
