Branca Joins Cannon Technologies, Inc. as Director of Substation
Systems
Minneapolis, MN, September 6, 2005 —
Cannon Technologies is pleased to announce that Denny Branca
has joined its staff as director of substation systems.
Mr. Branca comes to Cannon Technologies from Xcel Energy,
Inc., where he held a number of technical and leadership
positions within substation engineering and distribution
operations. Denny holds a bachelors degree in electrical
engineering from the University of Minnesota and a masters
of business administration from the University of St. Thomas,
St. Paul, Minnesota. Denny brings a wealth of industry experience
to his new assignment at Cannon Technologies, adding to
the existing core of electric utility engineering expertise
in its Substation Systems Group.
In his new position, Denny will be responsible
for the continued growth and development of Cannon Technologies'
Substation Advisor® and Esubstation™
Systems for substation monitoring and integration. Denny
will also foster the company's efforts in Gateway and Sensor
products, and systems integration. Mike Cannon, who heads
the Substation Group at Cannon Technologies says, "We
