Tennessee Valley Authority Installs Cannon
Technologies System to Monitor Large Transformers

Cannon Technologies, Inc. of Golden Valley (Minneapolis),
Minnesota announced today that it has commissioned its Substation
Advisor® System at TVA's Cordova Substation
near Memphis, Tennessee. The Substation Advisor®
System is being used to monitor 400 MVA, 500 KV autotransformers.
The system incorporates combustible gas and other transformer
operating information gathered from GE Hydran, Morgan Schaffer
Calisto, Cannon, and other third party sensors; along with
site weather information, in GE Harris D25 data gateways.
The entire system was integrated and installed by Cannon.

LG&E Energy Adopts Cannon Technologies’
ExpressCom™ Load Management Switches and Yukon™
Load Management Software

Cannon Technologies announced today that LG&E Energy,
parent company of Louisville Gas & Electric Company
and Kentucky Utilities, has adopted it's ExpressCom™
electric load management switches and Yukon™
software to drive the expansion of its residential load
management program. The LG&E Energy program, Demand
Conservation, currently serves about 22,000 customers with
an additional 100,000 planned over the next five years.

Lake Country Power to Invest in Automated
Meter Reading

Lake
Country Power announced it's teaming with two technology
providers to improve the capabilities of its electric distribution
system. The electric cooperative has signed an agreement
with the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative
and Cannon Technologies to install automated meter reading
equipment and substation technology to improve customer
service and reliability. The upgrade, which will be phased
in over the next five years, combines two cutting-edge
technologies to better serve the rural electric co-op's
40,000-plus members.
