Cannon Technologies SubGate® Sensor and IED Gateway

Cannon Technologies, Inc. formally announced today its SubGate® sensor and IED gateway. The SubGate® is a cost-effective solution for gathering data from substation equipment such as transformers and circuit breakers. This data from equipment alarms, sensors, and IEDs can be presented by way of fiber or wireless connection to a substation RTU or Gateway.

Cannon Technologies, Inc. announces the availability of a versatile automated meter reading (AMR) device designed for remote reading of popular digital polyphase meters in 4-6 seconds over utility-owned power lines. The multi-voltage/multi-protocol MCT-470 is the first “micro-RTU” capable of bi-directional serial communication with digital meters from different manufacturers over power distribution lines.

Cannon Technologies, Inc. Joins Hurricane Katrina Relief Efforts

Cannon Technologies, Inc. announced today their plan to raise $100,000 for the Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. The management and company will provide an initial donation of $50,000 and will match on a two-for-one basis any contribution by an employee, customer, supplier or friend of Cannon Technologies, until the total goal of $100,000 is achieved. All proceeds raised will be donated to the DEMCO Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization and subsidiary of Dixie Electric Membership Corporation (DEMCO), which has set up a special account and will ensure that 100% of donations earmarked for the Disaster Relief Fund will go directly to Hurricane Katrina disaster relief efforts.
