Control Thermostats & Load Control Receivers
We offer both direct control receivers (LCR series),
and the ExpressStat® utility-controlled smart thermostat
for cost-effective mass market “active control” applications.
LCRs control loads directly, and thermostats control HVAC equipment
through temperature setpoint changes.
The LCR series receivers can also be used in commercial
& industrial applications for control of well pumps, grinders,
compressors, or as a notification device to trigger energy management
sub-systems in commercial buildings (the same way Staples Stores
in California use our LCR).
Reduce "Free Riders" with TrueCycle®
The LCR series units feature multiple independent relays,
with lots of configurability. Our TrueCycle algorithm insures
the maximum level of central air conditioner control based
on usage patterns of the individual cooling system. Optional
“under-frequency control” helps maintain system
reliability.
Self-Service Program Management
Our Load Response Center application allows
program participants to manage program options via the Internet
or toll free telephone interactive voice response.
