Our Substation Advisor® application uses a substation
data gateway to collect high resolution data from substation
IEDs and metering, custom sensors, as well as traditional
I/O, and filters this data through more than a dozen intelligent,
predictive maintenance algorithms.
Substation Advisor® also makes
read-only data available to system planners and upper level
operations without the red tape of going through the SCADA/EMS
department, conveniently using a Web browser interface.
Optional Integration
Here is where we depart from the rest of the class.
Our integrated platform optionally links downline capacitors,
voltage regulators and demand reduction sub-systems to automatically
make the adjustments necessary to preserve thermal life of lines
and transformers.
Our Remote Power Factor Control application
raises the bar on VARs to 98 or 99% power factor, reducing losses
and wasted capacity, while flagging probable failed banks.
