With Yukon® in place for basic residential load management, this utility was looking for an additional system to monitor and control customer site generation.

The requirements of the new system included field hardware independence, communications independence, proven logic for genset control, and, ideally, easy integration with the existing IT environment. In a competitive bid, the addition of the necessary software modules to Yukon® was chosen as the best and most cost-effective option.

System administration is simple because the IT staff already has the system setup and knows it. No new hardware or connections are needed and they are already trained on database and user setup, and maintenance.
